Autumn
It is difficult not to be repeating yourself with things you are fond of or close to your heart. For those of you who have been with me for a while, or at least for a year, knows that my preferred time of year is now – autumn.
Yet I am still surprised how true that is.
And I am equally surprised how honest and actual my last yoga notes were, a year ago. Even if I didn’t know how it all would play out, my choice was right, to me then and still is. May does not only represent an ending, it is also the representative of our journey at Breytenbach Sentrum, here in Wellington. The 3rd of May is the date and I will always celebrate it. As much as it my experience of yoga that has changed my life, still does, but the profound impact and realisation was with the Sentrum. Little did I know when I stuttered vague instructions with new friends on our farm, who brought Laetitia along. She advertised in Val de Charron, in Afrikaans, that there would be yoga at Augusta Kleinbosch March April 2010. A few brave yogis met me there, can’t believe it is burned down now. Tomke, Louise and Conrad where part of the encouraging enthusiasts that suggested to chat to Theo at a place I never remembered the name of in Wellington. Residing on the farm I didn’t know about the real heart of Wellington, however from there and then you know the story as well.
Humbling how things comes together and fall into place even if I didn’t lift a finger myself. I only showed up. And so did you …
.. so I guess what I am trying to express with this post, is a heartfelt thank you for showing up, as you still do, in my heart!
Have a good month of May 🍂
