Grateful …

.. I have had the privilege to stand in for a fellow yogi at Santé Wellness Retreat and SPA.

A place I visited 8 or maybe 9 years ago, as an extra treat when my mother was visting. We were more or less the only guests at the time and we had a a very pleasant stay. We got a huge room with the bathtub elevated in the centre of it, we enjoyed lovely treatments but there was something essential missing, the entire place felt outdated.
So even if I live in the hoods I have not been back until last year, when I was asked to be part of the WhatsApp group, as a back up, which I happily accepted. And as I no longer have my own scheduled sessions it is nice to occasionally help out, especially as Santé has undergone some amazing change.
The new owners have added just what I was missing when I stayed there with my mother, they have been able to add spirit, atmosphere and the feeling of being at home away from home. Very special considering the grandeur of the place.

I am humbled by the opportunity and touched by the change the place has undergone and how important it is. I do not know what the new owners have done or what their intentions have been but it is working.
The place deserves it and it is a true pleasure to be part of, even only occasionally … thank you 🙏
